Overview
A busy family living in downtown Manhattan are seeking a full-time family assistant/house manager. Monday through Friday, with occasional remote work on nights and weekends requested. The job is generally on-site with some flexibility for occasional remote work.
Responsibilities
You will be the point person in the home for husband and wife, their 3 elementary-aged children, and staff (4 others), as well as manage oversight of two NY-area homes outside the city. Tasks include managing calendars, appointments, inventory, errands, special projects, etc.
Qualifications
- The ideal person for this role will be a go-getter, someone who is meticulous, reliable and can hit the ground running to help organize systems and run the household
- Longevity in prior roles would be preferred as they are looking for someone to be with them long-term too
- The principals do prefer you to have a driver's license as you will need to occasionally drive to the two homes outside of New York City.
Requirements
- You must be able to wear many hats and have a 'no task too big or too small' outlook. You must also have bookkeeping experience and be able to manage the household finances.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- You must have at least 5 years of similar experience in the home of HNW families with kids and multiple homes.
- You must be highly professional and respect boundaries.
Salary and Benefits
- Compensation for this role does depend on experience and ranges from $100-$140k.
