Overview
A family in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time live-out head housekeeper to lead their fully staffed home. This would be leading a team of housekeepers and working with their estate manager. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a guarantee of at least 40 hours. The role is open to relocating the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of housekeepers to maintain a meticulous home for the principals.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces to maintain the residence's impeccable appearance.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas with precision and thoroughness, infusing each space with a touch of warmth and care.
- Organize and maintain closets, cabinets, and storage areas, ensuring that items are neatly arranged and easily accessible, with a smile always on your face.
- Manage all aspects of laundry care, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and storing clothing and linens with meticulous attention to detail and a cheerful attitude. Follow specific instructions for handling delicate fabrics and garments, ensuring that laundry is treated with the utmost care and respect, accompanied by a warm smile.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other household essentials to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times, greeting each task with enthusiasm.
- Occasional help on nights for dinner parties or weekends (with notice)
Qualifications
- Ability to use basic computer functions. Apple iPhone, Calendee App, What’s App, Messages.
- Effective communication skills: verbal, written and listening.
- Adaptability: being open to change and open to innovative ideas and problem-solving skills.
- Time management: Prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines whilst also balancing household staff team responsibilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for datail.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and creative problem solver.

Requirements
- Legal to work in the US
- Managed a team and comfortable leading
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a private residence or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently.
