Overview
A private family of three is seeking a fantastic part-time chef in Atherton, CA. The family is seeking either 2-3 meal drop-offs per week, or the chef can cook at their home 2-3 times per week- the chef will prepare 5 days of lunch and dinner. The ideal schedule for cooking or drop-offs is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The family has a 1-year-old, so the chef should prepare meals that are appropriate for everyone to enjoy, or include simplified versions of what the adults will be eating.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of approximately ten healthy and fresh meals per week, including versions for the 1-year-old
- Cooking at the family home, or delivering meals 2-3 times per week
- Packaging meals and providing clear heating and serving instructions
- If cooking in the family home- keeping the kitchen tidy and cleaning up after cooking
- Occasional event cooking if willing and available
Qualifications
- Comfortable preparing "plain" yet delicious food with a focus on the natural flavors of the ingredients
- Discreet and efficient- the family is private
- Health conscious
Requirements
- Local to Atherton- the family requires that the chef grocery shop at a local market for most ingredients
- US work authorization
