Overview
A busy, loving family of 6 in Atherton, CA is seeking a long-term, live-out career nanny to support them. The schedule will be Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 8pm, with an additional hour here or there on some days and 45 hours guaranteed per week. The family travels (most often to Hawaii) a few times per year for 1-2 weeks, and the nanny would join them. This years August Hawaii trip is the 4th to the 15th. The family has four children ages 14, 8, 5, and 2.5. The three oldest will be in school starting in August until 3:15pm. They have another nanny who works the first half of the day (and all day on Fridays), and the two nannies will overlap between 12 and 1pm each day to debrief and get organized. The oldest child (14) has a rare genetic disorder that affects her physical and mental abilities and requires extra care, including hygiene and diapering, a feeding tube, and various therapies. She has a specialist who comes in the afternoons Monday through Friday. On Sundays or if the specialist is out, the nanny will need to be keen to learn the ropes of her care.

- Three of the children are usually in bed by 7pm, so the last hour can be used for closing duties and preparing for the next day.
- They do not need someone who has experience with special needs, but rather hope to find a nanny who is enthusiastically open to the opportunity and is a fast learner
