The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the personal and operational needs of the Principal and household, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across all properties and personal ventures. This individual will act as the Principal’s trusted advisor, providing strategic oversight and hands-on management of staff, projects, and resources.
The role will be based at the residence, report directly to the Principal, and serve as a liaison between the household and the family office.
Role Specifications
Serve as the Principal’s right hand and liaise with the family office to support the Principal, drive their objectives, and provide the office with what it needs.
Supervise 3 properties located within the Tri State area
Supervise property managers at other residences
Manage maintenance projects to ensure budget, progress, and completion are communicated to the Principal.
Oversee vendor contracts, invoices, and expense tracking to ensure cost efficiency.
Travel to various properties as needed.
Build a preventative maintenance schedule to manage repairs and maintenance.
Manage renovations and other household capital projects.
Ensure home improvement/renovation projects are completed timely and budgets are communicated to the Principal.
Vendor management.
Human resource management:
Assist the Principal with supervising staff at various properties, including hiring, firing, performance reviews, and compensation evaluation.
Coordinate weekly schedules of staff and driver(s).
Oversee technology:
Troubleshoot technology issues and coordinate with outsourced IT if required to resolve them.
Must be tech-savvy: complete comfort with all standard Mac computers, PCs, TVs, and internet skills, including email, apps, calendaring programs, Microsoft Office suite (Word & Excel), project management/messaging tools, various online portals for scheduling, and a quick learner of new apps.
Assist the Principal with event management as directed.
Manage and coordinate domestic and international travel logistics with the outsourced travel agency. This could include reviewing itineraries and private jet arrangements.
Maintain high-touch service and availability for the Principal’s needs:
Anticipate the needs of the Principal, ensuring all personal and professional obligations are met.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all matters, acting with the highest level of professionalism.
Review and approve household staff expenditures for all residences, assist in managing/tracking expenses and bills, credit card reconciliation, and coordinating with accounting partners in the Family Office.
Complete ad hoc requests and projects as directed.

Experience
7-10+ years of experience.
True consistency and longevity in a position.
Family office and/or luxury hospitality experience is a plus.
Experience with Apple products is a must.
