Schedule: January – August, Part-Time (Afternoon/Evening) 2pm – 9pm
Compensation: Up to $60/hour with Benefits DOE
An UHNW family on the Upper East Side is seeking a bright, articulate, and VERY polished nanny to care for their two children, ages 11 and 8, who have ADHD. This temporary role involves ensuring a structured, engaging, and supportive environment for the children, fostering their individual needs while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities:
Pick up the children from school in a chauffeur-driven car..
Assist with homework and provide structured academic and emotional support.
Managed backpacks and unpacking stuff
Will coordinate their needs for the next day
manage school schedules and any book reports etc
Coordinate with parents and other household staff to maintain a consistent routine.
Manage transitions and schedules efficiently, ensuring timeliness and preparedness.
Assist with feeding snacks and meals
Organizing their rooms, management of play dates
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience, preferably with UHNW families.
Expertise in working with children who have ADHD or similar needs.
Ability to provide structured and compassionate care, balancing discipline with encouragement.
Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with parents and school staff.
Polished and professional demeanor with excellent organizational skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing family needs and schedules.
A bachelor’s degree in education, child development, or a related field is a plus.
