Overview
A lovely family of eight is seeking a fantastic temporary full-time chef to join them at their home in the suburbs of Boston, MA. This position is generally Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-6pm, with some flexibility for evening and weekend events. The family is looking for coverage for approximately 1 month, from mid-November through mid-December, with the opportunity for a longer term role for the right person. The family will provide housing for the temporary role.
Responsibilities
- Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the family, which includes parents and six children, ranging in age from 3-19
- Grocery shopping for the family, and keeping the pantry and fridge stocked and organized
- Maintaining a tidy and organized kitchen in conjunction with the family's housekeeper
- Working longer hours around the week of Thanksgiving, including preparation of Thanksgiving dinner for the family
Qualifications
- Comfortable preparing healthy and clean dishes that are flavorful and delicious
- Warm and welcoming- the family is very down to earth and is seeking someone who is a pleasure to have in the home
- Familar with many cuisines and desire to be creative and provide variety in meal preparation
- Comfortable working around children and in a home environment
Requirements
- Local to Boston or willing to relocate to the area- the family is able to assist with relocation
- US work authorization
