Overview
A couple living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is seeking a domestic couple to look after their 10-acre ranch. The ranch has a guest apartment for the couple to live-in on the property. This is a year-round position in an area that is heavily rural, gets a lot of snow! This is a seasonal access property, which means the couple must be comfortable driving snowcats and snowmobiles in the winter to get from the parking lot to the house and vice versa.
Responsibilities
- The ideal couple should be comfortable handling a variety of animals, including two dogs, two cats, 15 chickens, and five horses.
- Horseback riding experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- Taking care of the greenhouse seasonally
- Mechanical upkeep with off-road vehicles
- Putting up/ taking down electrical fences
- Dealing with unforeseen occurrences
- Daily housekeeping
- Cooking, grocery shopping
- Laundry
Requirements
- Legal to work in the US
- Prior experience with HVAC, mechanical equipement and large estates.
- Ranch experience is a huge plus!
- Prior houskeeping experience
- Comfortable living in a rural area with heavy snow
- Cooking is a huge plus!
Salary and Benefits
The couple is open to discussing salary based on prior experience. Housing and all expenses are covered.
