Overview
A mature couple who split their time between their homes in Bal Harbour, FL and Southampton, NY are seeking a full-time, live-in housekeeper. They spend May through September in the Hamptons and the rest of the time in Florida. The candidate should be comfortable traveling with the couple when they go to their other homes. The schedule would be working five days on/two days off. The days off are usually Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday. There is a part-time housekeeper in Florida and a fully staffed home in the Hamptons.
Responsibilities
- Daily and deep cleaning
- Laundry, including ironing
- Driving and errands (such as grocery shopping)
- Overseeing occasional vendor/maintenance appointments
- Care of dog (Labradoodle) including walking, feeding, medications, and dog sitting when clients are out of town/ out to dinner, etc
Requirements
- Must be open to traveling
- Must be ok living in the Hamptons May-Sept
- Must be okay with the weekend schedule.
- Team-player mentality
- Proactive, go-getter, and hardworking
- If you are comfortable with light/basic/healthy cooking in Florida, that would be a huge plus, but it is not required! There is a chef when in the Hamptons.
