Overview
A highly organized and proactive personal assistant is sought in NYC to support a high net worth individual in managing their personal and professional affairs. The ideal candidate will be discreet, professional, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation
- Handle personal errands and tasks, such as gift shopping, making reservations, and coordinating household services
- Prioritize and respond to emails and inquiries on behalf of the Principal
- Assist with financial and administrative tasks, such as budget management and expense tracking
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Serve as a liaison between the principal and various contacts, including family members, business associates, and service providers
- Anticipate needs and proactively address any issues that may arise
- Conduct research and compile information on various topics as needed
- Other ad hoc tasks as assigned
- Work with household teams to maintain wardrobe inventory for the principal
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years experience in a similar role
- Work experience in New York City, with knowledge/familiarity with restaurants, bars, shopping, etc.
- In-home experience - an understanding of private households is essential
Requirements
- Previous experience as a personal assistant or executive assistant preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen sense of intuition
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, AirTable, Workday and other relevant software
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Discretion and confidentiality are essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed
- Valid driver's license and passport
- University Degree
- Must have a US passport, Green Card or EAC
Salary and Benefits
- $130-$150k+ plus full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k)
