A private family in Marina del Rey is seeking an experienced Live-in Family Assistant/Cook to provide high-level household support, meal preparation, and occasional childcare assistance. This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and the ability to read the room. The ideal candidate will be energetic, health-conscious, and experienced in managing home systems.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Live-in position – Private bedroom & bathroom provided
- $35 per hour
- 5 days per week – Morning and late afternoon/evening shifts (flexibility required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Meal Preparation & Cooking – Stock the fridge with healthy, prepped meals and cook
- Household Organization & Systems Management – Keep spaces tidy, manage home systems, and ensure the home runs efficiently
- Errands & Logistics – Grocery shopping, returns, scheduling maintenance, and other household tasks
- Light Childcare Support – Be an extra set of hands for three children (ages 3, 7, and 9) when needed
- Communication & Coordination – Work seamlessly with the hands-on mom and ensure household needs are met
- Travel Assistance – Must have experience traveling with families and be open to occasional travel
