Our clients, are seeking a live-in/out Housekeeper to assist in
maintaining their beautiful estate in Gloucestershire. This is a
full-time position.
The estate spans across 30 acres, and there is an existing team
of staff, including a part-time Housekeeper, Driver, and Head
Gardener. It’s a close-knit, busy household, so the ability to
work well with others as a team is essential.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the part-time
Housekeeper to continue providing excellent support to the
family. A key responsibility will be preparing simple family
meals, particularly when hosting guests or when their children
and their families visit.
The family entertains regularly, therefore, flexibility will be
needed to assist on occasion, including offering informal service
when required.
The household has 3 dogs and 3 cats, so the candidate must be
comfortable around animals. Due to the location and the need for
occasional errands, the Housekeeper must be able to drive.
Duties outlined but not limited to:
* High-standard hands-on cleaning
* Cleaning of fine antiques and artwork
* laundry and ironing
* Wardrobe Management
* Hosting and Greeting Guests
* Family cooking and meal preparation
* Packing and unpacking suitcases
* Pet care (3 dogs and 3 cats)
* House and pet sitting when the couple are away (desirable)
Work schedule: 5 days per week, including weekends as needed.
Salary: £40,000 gross per annum
