Overview

A busy Belgravia couple seek a professional portuguese-speaking, live-in nanny for their almost 2-year-old son. The current plan is for the new nanny to start with the family towards the end of January (there will be a hand-over period with the current nanny who is leaving), and the usual schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7am-7pm. The family are open to fully live-in candidates, or candidates who would prefer to spend the weekends elsewhere.

Responsibilities

Full nursery duties during the day, ensuring the boy's continued health and well-being
Nursery drop off and pick up three mornings per week
Planning age-appropriate and developmental activities, play dates, and outings
Preparing delicious, fresh and healthy snacks and meals
Child-related light housekeeping when required (the family have a full-time housekeeper)
Regular travel with the family (for 2-3 weeks at a time

Qualifications

Some form of childcare related qualification or degree
Confident and safe driver preferred
Candidates should be happy with the parents being at home (either working or just generally around)

Requirements

Native (or completely fluent) Portuguese speaker
Comfortable ensuring a completely screen-free environment at all times (candidates must be happy to keep their phone out of sight and should use it as little as possible)

Salary and Benefits

Accommodation provided consists of private room with ensuite bathroom and own separate entrance
Salary from £53,000 gross pa, doe
