Overview
A family that lives between Palm Beach, FL, and NY is seeking a ROTA nanny to work two weeks on/off. The role will be live-in while working. The hours are 7am-8pm, but this could be adjusted in the future, so flexibility is key! The position is ready to hire!
Responsibilities
Care for an infant and toddler-aged child including, but not limited to;
- Feeding, bathing, changing
- Prepare bottles, feed, and handle all bottle washing
- Preparing healthy meals
- Helping a pre-school-aged child get ready for school, including packing lunch daily
- Driving to and from school
- Supervising outdoor play
- Engaging in creative and educational activities
- Keeping children's room and play areas organized and tidy
- Wash, fold, and put away all the children's laundry
- Wash children's bedding and remake beds
- Light errands for the family and household
- General home tidying and organization
- Manage the child's wardrobe: sort through and separate items that no longer fit
- Walk and feed the family dogs
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Take children to activities outside of the home
Requirements
- Must be legal to work in the US
- Previous full-time/long-term experience of at least 8 years is a must
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; openness to a driving test with parents before driving with the children
- Proficiency in swimming
- First Aid or CPR certification (or willingness to become certified)
- Updated vaccines required
- Seeking a long-term commitment
- Passport-ready and willing to travel internationally and throughout the summer.
