Overview
A loving family of four in Palm Beach is seeking a part-time, experienced, professional nanny to join their fully-staffed household. This position would be working alongside the lead nanny and as a backup for the two children, ages 8-months and 3.5-years-old. The schedule would be live-out, locally in Palm Beach, working two days a week, 12-hour shifts. The schedule would be either two weekdays or one weekday/one weekend. Candidate needs to have flexibility. The position is looking for an ASAP start based on the candidates availability. This position is not looking to relocate, so you should already be living local to the Palm Beach area. They are seeking someone who is looking for longevity. This is a year-round, permanent role.
Responsibilities
The following are lead nanny duties, your activities will be similar in caring for the infant and toddler aged child:
Provide attentive, engaged care for two young children
Work collaboratively with lead nanny and household staff
Follow established routines and family preferences
During Summer: organize, rotate, and maintain children's toys and play areas
Maintain absolute discretion regarding family privacy
Qualifications
- Loves spending time with children and has knowledge of developmental milestones
- Honest, diligent, responsible, courteous, and discreet
- Positive and pleasant personality
- Nurturing, loving, upbeat, health-conscious, and flexible
Requirements
- Legal to work in the US
- Previous experience with infants and toddlers
- Valid driver’s license and openness to a driving test with parents prior to driving with the children
- Longevity
Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience
Strong references
Background check and clean driving record
Current CPR and First Aid certification
