Overview
An ambitious, intelligent, and highly organized junior personal assistant is needed to navigate the personal lifestyle of a busy principal in New York City.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- Execute daily miscellaneous tasks, such as running errands, placing lunch orders, delivering coffee, tracking/arranging deliveries and purchase orders, updating contacts, conducting research for upcoming and ongoing projects, and more.
- Manage the principal’s personal calendar, personal correspondence, all international and domestic travel, and all logistics related to social engagements/activities (including travel itineraries, hotel and dinner reservations, drivers, security, etc.)
- Coordinate with household staff regarding the management of the principal’s wardrobe, food preferences, and other household needs
Qualifications
- Have a bachelor’s degree
- Work experience in New York City, with knowledge/familiarity with restaurants, bars, shopping, etc.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and adaptability/ flexibility
- Be fashion-forward, with an interest in the arts and political science/economics
- Experience working collaboratively, but the ability to execute independently
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ verifiable experience working in a relevant position
- Willingness to be on call when needed and 24/7 mentality
- Be willing to master Microsoft Office, and other programs and software
