Overview
A busy but loving family are seeking a part-time nanny/family assistant to help with their boys, ages 11-years and 13-years, and help their home and lives run smoothly. The general schedule will be Monday through Thursday, from 1pm- 8:30pm, for a guaranteed 30 hours per week, with the occasional Fridays when necessary. Someone who can pitch-in for longer days if the boys are home from school is a plus, but not a requirement. Ideally, the family would love to find a manny as their boys are getting older, but overall they want the best fit, whoever that may be!
Responsibilities
Nanny
- Light meal prep for the boys and preparing snacks and lunches for the next day
- School pick-ups
- Taking to after school activities
- Helping with homework
- Kids laundry
- Helping tidy kids areas and keeping them on top of their responsibilities
Family Assistant
- Scheduling appointments
- Running errands
- Keeping track of home inventory, stocking the home with needed essentials, and buying more when needed
- Bringing packages in and doing returns when needed
- Create and maintain organization techniques/systems in the home
- Manage kids calendar for each of them and their schools
Qualifications
- Patient and warm

- Has a great sense of humor and positive attitude
- Boisterous and high energy
Requirements
- Has at least 5 years of experience in nannying and/or assisting
- Someone very skilled at positive reinforcement, and redirecting, who can steer boys back to their tasks in fun and appropriate ways
- Can help with homework on their levels, both boys have learning disabilities
- Can maintain boundaries, but is not too stern, and can remain someone the boys are comfortable with while still keeping them on task when needed
- Organized
- Legal to work in the US
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly rate is $40-$45, depending on experience
