Personal Assistant to Private Family
Location: Brentwood, LA (with travel to NYC and East Hampton, NY)
Salary: $150,000 – $175,000
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant for a prominent family, soon relocating from New York City to Los Angeles. This role requires 5-7 years of experience in a similar position, exceptional multitasking skills, and a “24/7” mindset to support the family’s dynamic household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing household operations, coordinating schedules and travel, overseeing property maintenance, and providing administrative and personal support to the principals and their children. This is a very busy family so need someone who has worked in this type of role before.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage household staff and contractors, including payroll, onboarding, and coordination across multiple properties.
- Oversee maintenance of residences, ensuring all systems are operational before family arrival.
- Coordinate complex calendars and travel logistics for the family, including private and commercial travel, transportation, and event planning.
- Assist with personal errands, financial management, and tech troubleshooting.
- Support family’s charity activities, oversee fine art collection, and manage children’s extracurricular activities.
Ideal Candidate:
- 5–7 years of experience in a Personal Assistant role, preferably with high-net-worth families.
- Strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a thick skin.
- Tech-savvy, with experience managing household systems and digital calendars.
- Knowledge of luxury travel, high-end restaurants, and fine art management a plus.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time, flexible schedule with travel between LA and NYC.
- Competitive salary ($150K-$175K) plus benefits.
