We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Butler/House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a luxurious residential penthouse in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on behalf of our distinguished UHNW client.
This is a permanent, full-time, live-in position, offering an excellent opportunity to manage an opulent property and provide a world-class service. As the primary point of contact for the household, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the home are maintained to the highest standards while also managing the client’s lifestyle requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Management: Oversee the general upkeep and maintenance of the penthouse, coordinating with maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers. Ensure that the home is always immaculately presented and prepared for the client’s use.
Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of domestic staff, including housekeepers, drivers, chefs, and other household employees. Responsible for scheduling, training, and ensuring the team provides seamless and efficient service.
Butler Services: Provide exceptional table service, including meal service, drinks preparation, and other personalized requirements. Ensure all requests are handled promptly and discreetly.
Event Planning & Coordination: Organize and manage social events, gatherings, and family functions. This includes everything from planning, guest lists, logistics, catering, and decor to on-the-day management to ensure a flawless execution.
Personalized Assistance: Manage personal errands and assist with a wide range of client requests, including travel arrangements, shopping, and special projects. Anticipate the client’s needs and ensure their lifestyle preferences are always met.
Budget and Inventory Management: Oversee the household budget, keeping track of household expenses and managing inventory of household supplies, ensuring that everything is in place and nothing is lacking.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Butler or House Manager in a luxury, high-net-worth environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A polished and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Discretion and confidentiality are essential.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing needs.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience with managing large properties and luxury residences.
- Knowledge of cultural expectations and high-service standards in Saudi Arabia.
