Role: Head Chef
Location: Northumberland, UK
Salary: £43,000-£45,000 plus service charge

Who We’re Looking For
- Experienced: At least 2-3 years in a high-volume kitchen.
- Passionate: You have a flair for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Calm Under Pressure: You excel in delivering results within tight deadlines.
- A Leader: Proven experience managing and motivating a kitchen team.
- Communicative: Great interpersonal skills to collaborate with kitchen, front-of-house staff, and management.
- Creative: An enthusiastic approach to menu planning and costing.
- Qualified: Holds a Level 3 Food Safety Certificate and has HACCP knowledge. Skilled in stocktaking and budget management.
Key Responsibilities of the Role are but not limited to:
- Maintain and monitor consistent food standards and quality across all areas.
- Take full accountability for the day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Handle ordering through nominated suppliers.
- Achieve budget targets for food costs, wastage, and wages.
- Lead menu development to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
- Manage stock control and ensure inventory is up to date.
- Oversee the training and management of the kitchen team.
- Conduct daily briefings with the team.
- Ensure the kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
