Overview
A busy lawyer in the Dallas area of Texas is seeking a highly organized and proactive personal assistant/office manager to streamline his personal and professional life. The typical schedule will be 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm with the occasional after hours in an emergency. There will likely be the opportunity to work remote from time to time especially in the beginning as the new office in Preston Center will be ready sometime in January. However, this role is considered in-office.
Responsibilities
- Manage schedules and appointments including coordinating meetings and vendors for home
- Book and manage all travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries
- Calendaring
- Provide support to Principal and his family
- Assist with personal and professional correspondence
- Screen phone calls
- Conduct research on various topics and provide summaries or reports as needed
- Day-to-day organization including both physical and digital keeping of files
- Liaison with clients and colleagues on behalf of Principal
- Review invoices and pay bills
- General office support and ad hoc tasks

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and with a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with the utmost discretion
- Tech savvy
- Possess a proactive and anticipatory approach to problem-solving and task management

Requirements
- Must have 5+ years prior experience in a similar role as an executive/personal assistant. Candidates with accounting, bookkeeping or paralegal skills will be considered
- Flexibility to flow between personal and professional tasks
- Must be able to adhere to an NDA
- Desire for a long-term professional relationship
- US passport, Green Card or EAC
- Ability to start before January
