A fabulous three day nanny role has become available in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire. This friendly and professional family like to keep fit, enjoying walking and dance. They are looking for a kind and dedicated nanny who can stay long term and become part of their happy family unit.
This is a sole charge role, looking after two lovely little girls aged five and three. The eldest is at full time school and the youngest attends pre-school, two days each week, moving up to three days in the new year.
The hours will 07.30-18.00, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week (31.5 hours). There will need to be some flexibility due to work commitments. However, this will always be agreed with as much notice as possible, and you will be paid overtime at the agreed hourly rate.
In the school holidays, the parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of educational and stimulating indoor fun (reading stories, sensory play, singing, age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play in the garden and walks to the park. They would also like the nanny to meet up with friends for play dates, groups and activities to allow their children to mix with other children, ensuring that they are happy and safe at all times.
You will need to be a confident and careful driver, with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be reimbursed at the current government rate.
The family employ a weekly cleaner. As well as general care of the children, your duties will include keeping all areas used by the children organised and tidy (kitchen, children’s rooms, playroom, etc), family laundry and ironing. You will also be responsible for providing the children with healthy and nutritious meals and snacks each day (home cooked as possible). Batch cooking with plenty made in advance and frozen for the parents to use for them at the weekends, would be appreciated. Some help to keep the house running smoothly would also be appreciated – emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day, etc.
This is a wonderful role and would suit someone who is happy to make a long-term commitment.
