On behalf of our VIP client based in Gstaad, we are looking for a professional, all-rounder Nanny/PA to assist the principal and take care of her 10-year-old daughter.
This is an exciting role that will suit someone looking for variety, take ownership of the role and make it their own. Must be happy to travel last minute, a confident driver, French or German languages skills a bonus, must be flexible, organised, bubbly with a positive attitude. It is essential the Nanny/PA has the relevant paperwork to work in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities:
Private PA / Household Management
- Keep track of principle's calendar and assist the EA in ensuring she is on work calls
- Dog walking daily
- Assist with household errands (dry cleaning, grocery shopping, personal errands for principal, making online orders, buying flowers)
- Managing and reordering monthly supplies
- Overseeing the housekeepers, ensuring clothes are handled correctly and taking delicate items for dry cleaning.
- Keeping the chef and housekeepers up to date on guests visiting the house/amount of people for lunches and dinners
- Assist chef and housekeepers with general upkeep of the home (setting table for meals, organisation of wardrobes and storage (packing and unpacking) rooms, general tidying up after child)
- Making local restaurant reservations
- Book and manage staff for at home appointments such as nails, massage, hairdresser
- House organisation (the chalet is changed around from winter to summer season so changing all the wardrobes over to seasonal clothing and packing everything else away e.g. storing ski equipment and bringing all summer sport equipment up)
Some PA support:
- Keeping track of and paying invoices promptly (inc Swiss tax invoices)
- Managing payments to external contractors
- Liaising with the London EA on calendar - working around principal’s personal commitments before scheduling meeting and calls
- Helping Principal keep track of meetings and assisting with filming requests from the social media team
- The principal has clients in Switzerland who come to the chalet to purchase products or receive treatments when pop-ups are run from Gstaad - the candidate will need to learn about the brand and be confident in describing the products to the clients.
Childcare:
- School drops off and pick up including after school activities
- Manage school schedule/week and after school activities sign ups and calendar
- Assist with homework and tutoring
- Organise and attend play dates/birthday parties
- Sole care of child when principal is travelling for work purposes
- Simple cooking for child when chef has days off
- Managing the school and after-school activities calendar - booking the activities each term and scheduling tutoring sessions around the school timetable.
- Winter season will include ski training and races each weekend
Schedule: flexible and work out of hours when required
Tuesday-Saturday full time hours, Sunday & Monday’s off (flexibility is required)
Salary: Competitive
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 10 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
