Overview
A private family in Fairfield County, CT is seeking a top-notch estate manager to oversee their home. This schedule for this role is full-time and is generally Monday through Friday, but will require a 24/7 mindset and flexibility to work when needed.
Responsibilities
Duties for this position encompass everything related to residence and its care. The estate has several staff members on-site, so the estate manager will work with them to ensure that the homes are running smoothly. Duties encompass, but are not limited to;
- Duties include scheduling and overseeing renovations and projects
- Being on-site for maintenance and vendors
- Supervising household staff
Overseeing invoices
Managing house/staff manuals
Shopping for groceries and other household items
Running errands
Sorting mail and accepting packages and deliveries
Processing and shipping returns
Keeping up with car maintenance
Assisting with events such as dinners and parties
Qualifications
This is a very hands-on position and requires someone who has a “no task is too big or too small” attitude
- Ability to do projects on own both inside and outside on the grounds
This role requires being on-site at the main home often in order to do regular walkthroughs with the principals to discuss various projects and maintenance
The family is seeking someone who has knowledge of estimates and invoices, who can track and manage project expenses, and negotiate on the principals' behalf
The ideal candidate for this role will be proactive, detail-oriented, organized, and will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask and think ahead

Salary and Benefits
Compensation for the role depends on experience and schedule and ranges from $120-$200k plus a health insurance stipend if needed
