Overview
Seeking a part-time tutor for 2 boys, aged 3-years-old and 6-years-old. Initially, all that will be required is 1.5-2 hours tutoring on a Saturday morning, however there will also be some travel required during holidays and half term breaks. The family live in central London.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the 6-year-old with an hour's worth of tutoring on Saturday morning, preparing him for 8+ tests
- Providing around half an hour of tutoring to the 3-year-old, doing age appropriate activities and exercises to support his educational development
- Some travel with the family during holidays, with up to 4 hrs tutoring expected per day when away
Qualifications
- Previous tutoring experience supporting students with their 8+ exams
- Prior teaching experience would be viewed favourably
Requirements
- Previous experience in a busy, fully staffed household
- Comfortable in a formal environment
- Candidates should be pro-active team players and effective communicators
- Flexibility is essential, with availability to travel for up to 12 weeks of the year
