Overview
A kind, down-to-Earth family based in Los Angeles (with additional properties in the US and Hawaii) is seeking an experienced, full-time travel/yacht chef to join them and their two children, ages 9 and 14.
The role will start ASAP in California (LA/San Francisco), then the family intend to spend at least 12 months from February 2025 traveling all over the world, from the East Coast to the Bahamas, all over Europe, and various other destinations. They will spend much of this time aboard a 100ft yacht.
Candidates should, therefore, be comfortable spending multiple months at sea, although the yacht will dock at numerous locations and the family will do a great deal of land-based exploration as well- especially in Europe. As such, there will be down periods, when the candidate will have the opportunity to explore destinations on their own terms, as well as use the time travel home to see their own families.
The itinerary is going to be quite fluid, so candidates should be flexible and excited by the prospect of living a more impromptu existence for a time, i.e. if the thought of not having a fixed itinerary/schedule makes you anxious, this is not the job for you.
