Overview
A warm and welcoming Stoke Newington-based family seeks a fabulous part-time, live-out nanny for two children aged 2-years and almost 6-years-old. The ideal schedule would be 3:30-7:30 or 8pm, 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities will revolve around the children:
- Picking the children up from school and nursery
- Taking them to any after school activities and/or playdates
- Engaging with them in the afternoon and supporting their after-school wind down
- Getting them fed, bathed and into bed
- Light housekeeping relating to the children (keeping their areas clean and tidy, tidying up after dinner)
Qualifications
This is an easy-going, creative and loving home, so the parents are looking for someone who aligns with their approach and who brings a warm, supportive, and positive presence to the environment. Candidates should also be proactive and engaged, able to demonstrate initiative and a 'can-do' attitude but also sensitive enough to know when to step back and allow family time.
Please also note that the younger child is showing possible signs of neurodivergence, so an understanding of this as a concept, and experience working with neurodivergent children, would be a huge advantage and very much appreciated.
Requirements
There is a very friendly labradoodle in the home. Applicants should be comfortable around dogs!
