Overview
A busy family in Greenwich, CT is looking for a warm, professional, and experienced live-in nanny to provide comprehensive childcare support for a family with three young boys ages 1, 3, and 5-years-old. The schedule will be 7am-7:30pm, and live-in Monday through Friday. The nanny will have their own bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The nanny will work alongside an active, involved mother to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. The home also has a full-time family assistant, part-time chef, and two times-a-week cleaners.
Responsibilities
- Daily availability: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; Oldest child is in school from 8am-3pm, middle child is in school from 8:00am-12:00pm
- Assist with daily care and routines
- Wake and dress children for the day
- Manage nap times for younger children
- Assist with bath time as needed
- Occasionally put children to bed (parents usually handle this)
- Educational support and engagement
- Engage children in intellectually stimulating activities
- Support age-appropriate development
- Nutrition and meals
- Serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for children
- Light meal prep for children as needed (breakfast foods, simple cooked veggies, pasta, etc). The chef does most of the heavy lifting.
- Child-related household management
- Maintain tidy playroom and children's bedrooms
- Manage children's laundry and bedding
- Keep kitchen tidy after children's meals
- Unload dishwasher and take out trash and diaper pails
- Family support
- Be available when parents are out during evenings
- Assist mother as needed with other child-related tasks and household tasks
