Overview

Seeking a temporary live-out nanny for a family in Marylebone, London. The family arrives at the beginning of August and would like the nanny to start around 7th or 8th of August. The position will likely last for 3 or 4 weeks and, if all is going well, there may be some travel and then a return to London a few weeks later. The schedule will likely be Monday through Friday from 8am-6pm, however, the parents would appreciate a nanny open to babysitting, and there could be weekend work for any interested candidates.

Responsibilities

The nanny must have previous experience with infants (from 6-months) and should also be aware of developmental milestones. Responsibilities will include:

Nursery duties relating to the baby including keeping baby's areas clean and tidy, changing nappies, and baby's laundry and ironing
Supporting the weaning process
Tag-teaming with Mum and Dad, who will be mostly around and who love to be very involved
Reading to baby, playing with him and really encouraging him to grow and develop
Fostering a warm and nurturing environment in the home
Light housekeeping (emptying the dishwasher, wiping down the sides in the kitchen etc)

Requirements

The nanny should have plenty of prior experience with similar aged children. They should also be:

Brilliant at reading the room, with an innate understanding of when to step back and allow family time
Familiar with London and what it has to offer young children
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Adaptable and professional at all times
Consistently gentle, kind and nurturing with baby
