Overview
A kind and loving family in the Ponce-Davis neighborhood of Florida are seeking a full-time, live-in or live-out career nanny for their two children ages 5 and 3. They are expecting a third child in November and have an NCS for the first 6 months. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 10:30am to 7:30pm with some flexibility for the occasional weekend. If the candidate choses to live-in, the family would appreciate someone who is okay with listening to the monitor as needed in the evenings. Both children attend school from 8:30am to 2:45pm. This allows time for the nanny to take care of child-related housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal prep, and organization of rooms. This is a wonderful opportunity for a devoted career nanny who is wanting a long-term position and is passionate about playing a vital role in children’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- All aspects of full-charge childcare
- Meal planning and prep, including snacks
- Supporting intellectual, emotional, and social development of the children through age-appropriate activities, educational games and outings
- Drive children to/from activities, including picking up from school
- Collaboratively work with parents by practicing open and consistent communication
- Schedule and keep track of children’s activities
- Provide guidance, structure, and set thoughtful boundaries
- Pro-actively research local seasonal child-friendly activities and exhibits

Requirements
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must have current vaccinations for MMR, Dtap, flu
- Non-Smoker
- Must have experience in a similar role
- Must be legal to work in the U.S.
- Strong swimmer is preferred. Must have ability to swim and be proficient in water safety
- Ability to travel domestically and speak Spanish are pluses, but are not required
