Overview
A lovely family of four residing in Puerto Rico is seeking two nannies to help care for their two young children, aged 1-year-old and 4-years-old. The schedule is to be determined but would be split into two parts with one of the nannies on duty from 7am-5.30pm, Monday through Friday and the second nanny will take over from 5.30pm-9/10pm in the evening; sometimes later if babysitting, they would also be required to work over the weekend with days off during the working week. This schedule could also be rotated between the two nannies. The family travel regularly throughout the year spending October through March in Puerto Rico, April to May in Portugal, and June to September in Chamonix, France. The nannies would be expected to travel with the family during this time. They also travel frequently for long weekends and the holidays when living in Puerto Rico. The candidates would ideally join the family from October 15th, (but could be before this date), and by October 31st, this will include a handover with their current nanny.
Responsibilities
- To encourage the children to meet their educational milestones.
- To be able to plan educational activities for the children.
- Both parents work from home, so the candidates should be comfortable with this scenario and are able to work independently
- To be able to prepare and cook healthy meals for the children
- They are an active family and want their children to be encouraged to join in with outdoor activities
- Screen time should be limited to a minimum
Qualifications
- It isn't essential if a candidate speaks French or Spanish but it would be a huge bonus
Requirements
- Must be passport and travel ready
- It would be a bonus if the candidate's have had previous experience when traveling with families
- A driver is required and must have a clean license
- Fluent English speaking
- The ideal candidates would be energetic, proactive, flexible, and self starters.
- The family are looking for candidates to stay with them longterm, and grow with the children
Salary and Benefits
- The family will provide health insurance in Puerto Rico and travel health insurance when abroad
- Accommodation would be provided for the candidates not far from the family's home
- Salary is negotiable and depends on experience and qualifications
