After-school Nanny for busy family in Leatherhead, Surrey, Job ID J1B665 - An After-school Nanny is needed by this busy family based in Leatherhead, Surrey to assist them in looking after their school-aged child. They seek someone flexible and proactive, able to assist in both mornings and afternoons who can carry out all childcare duties. The nanny will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the child. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license would be a bonus and the family can provide a car. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position. Working hours: 3 days a week from 7:30 am to 8:30 am then 3:45 pm to 6:30/6:45 pm, approximately 20 hours per week. The role can be only afternoons for the right candidate, instead of a split shift. During school holidays it can be from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Duties include:

Collecting the child from school Assisting with homework Preparing meals and snacks Arranging playdates Engaging in age-appropriate games and activities Reading stories to the child Encouraging the child to tidy up their toys after use Supporting the evening routine, including organising school bags for the next day Handling light laundry for the child’s clothes Occasional grocery shopping
