Overview
A wonderful couple who both work from home are seeking a top-notch, experienced full-time housekeeper for their home in Newport Coast, CA. This is an active household as the couple’s young adult children often visit, and the house is a gathering place for friends and family. The family have a second residence in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Beverlywood, where they like to spend the Jewish High Holidays. The candidate will be expected to accompany them. This is a temporary to permanent position after 30 days- the family would like someone long-term and want to ensure it suits both parties well. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- All aspects of general cleaning of a 10,000 sq. ft home
- Cleaning/deep cleaning of all living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, home theater, etc.
- Laundry including bedding
- Some ironing
- Pet care and clean up as needed (3 dogs)
- Maintaining organization of pantry and closets
- Keeping home tidy throughout the day
- Inventory management of household cleaning products
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a high-end home
- Knowledge of how to clean various surfaces and fabrics
- Pleasant and professional demeanor
- Dependable, trustworthy, and upbeat
- A keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work
- Works intuitively and proactively
- Comfortable working around work-from-home principals
- Not a clock watcher
- Have common sense with a can-do attitude
- Can read a room and know when to step away
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to accompany the family to their Beverly Hills residence
- Previous experience as a yacht stewardess or executive housekeeper is not required but would be a plus

Salary and Benefits
$45+ per hour, depending on experience
Medical reimbursement and 401k upon permanent hire
