ZI303 - Night Nanny - Canary Wharf, London

Overview

First time Canary Wharf-based parents seek a night nurse for 2-3 nights per week to help care for their 2-week-old baby. Hours will be from 10pm-8am (although a little flexibility around this would be appreciated) and the booking is likely to last for 6-8 weeks. Please note that this is a live-out position and accommodation is not provided for when the night-nurse is not working. There may also be some domestic travel.

Responsibilities

All nursery and overnight duties pertaining to the newborn:

Feeding (currently combination)
Winding and settling
Changing nappies
Soothing
Keeping the nursery area tidy
Helping to instil a gentle night-time routine, as well as encourage self-settling

Requirements

Lots of experience as a night nurse/maternity nurse
Preferably some experience as a neo-natal nurse or midwife
Comfortable supporting breast and/or bottle feeding
Happy to work alongside fully involved parents who will be doing the majority of the care themselves (apart from the two to three nights you are supporting them!)
Patient and calm approach, and good at working within a reasonably structured set up for baby
