A fabulous three month temporary nanny role has become available looking after one baby boy aged one. The family live in a recently refurbished house in Bricket Wood, near St Albans, Hertfordshire. This friendly and professional family is looking for a kind, nurturing and fun nanny to help care for their baby boy.
Although the parents regularly work from home, this will be a sole charge role. The hours will be Monday-Friday, 09.00-17.00 (40 hours/week). Any additional hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
The parents are keen for their little boy to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help him to hit his various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating and educational indoor fun (reading, singing, jigsaws, craft, imaginary games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park, etc. The parents are happy for him to attend educational and fun groups and activities (music group, library, farm, soft play, etc) to allow him to mix with other children, ensuring that he is always happy and safe. You should have a real love and understanding of child development.
As well as general care of the baby and keeping all areas used clean and tidy (kitchen, his bedroom and playroom, etc), the nursery duties are to include keeping on top of his laundry. You will provide healthy and nutritional meals each day.
This role will be nursery duties only, but some help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – emptying the dishwasher, running the hoover round, making sure all rooms are tidy at the end of the day, etc.
You will need to be a careful and confident driver with your own fully insured car and a clean licence. Duty mileage will be paid.
